One the difference between conformist learner and concrete learner is social interaction. The conformist learner is perfectly happy to work in non-communicative classrooms. The conformist learner is dependent on someone who is more clever than him or her. In contrast, the concrete learner enjoys the social aspects in learning. The concrete learner prefers to work in group or play games with other srudents.
Last, the other difference between conformist learner and concrete learner is the goal of their language learning. The conformist learner prefers to emphasize learning ‘about language’ over learning. On the other hand, concrete learner is more interested in language use and language as communication. It means that concrete learner usually tries to practice the language as long as he or she could. Concrete learner enjoys to learn from direct experience by communicating with other people.
